Back to School with KidSafe

The back to school season is here meaning earlier bedtimes, lots of germs, and the desire to get our children to focus a bit more. Like most moms, I am always looking for ways to make life's little challenges such as illnesses and trouble sleeping slightly easier. I had been doing research on essential oils to diffuse in my daughters room and to dilute and put on her in target places to help with various ailments such as the ones I mentioned but didn't really know where to start because there are so many options. A few weeks after my search Plant Therapy got in touch with me with information on their KidSafe oils and I couldn't wait to learn more.

KidSafe by Plant Therapy is the first essential oil line developed specifically for children ages 2 through 10. I have always heard mixed reviews when it comes to using essential oils on children which is why I had been doing so much research, so I loved finding out that KidSafe oils are formulated in a kid-friendly way to be both safe and effective for little ones.

My favorite thing about KidSafe essential oils is that they are targeted toward issues that children often face such as needing an immunity boost, helping them to sleep, and even to relieve skin ailments like eczema. These oils also smell great which helps to stop even the pickiest kid from complaining about you using them.

KidSafe oils come undiluted (which you can dilute at home with a carrier oil - they sell that too) and pre-diluted roll ons. Plant Therapy also makes the cutest Aroma Plushes that come with their own scents that can be used on an aroma pad stored inside of the toy, they are perfect for bedtime! They also sell a product called Aromatherapy Inhalers which are a perfect way to bring your essential oils on the go with you.

When I first started talking to Mia about using essential oils on her and diffusing them in her room she kept telling me that she didn't want me to do that because they all "smell like medicine". I was pleasantly surprised that when our products from Plant Therapy came in she opened the box and was smelling all of the oils. She really enjoyed looking at each bottle and seeing what they are used for, how to use them, and what essential oil combinations they are made using. She was even excited to help me put some oil into the diffusers. I have a feeling that these oils are going to be used very often in my house!
