I was given the opportunity to review a board game from Peaceable Kingdom. Peaceable Kingdom has been making board games since 1983. They started with a single game and have grown to card games, stickers, and cooperative board games. Their mission is to "Make Good, Do Good, and Be Good", they fulfill their mission by using sustainable products, creating games that help connect build a stronger connection between you and your child, having annual donation days, and creating award winning games. They have won several awards with many of their different games. Race to the Treasure has won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Best Toy Award. Race to the Treasure, is a fun game, teaching critical thinking skills. To find out more about this game, continue reading!

I received the Race to the Treasure board game for my product to review from Peaceable Kingdom. This game was such a great game to play with my 10 year old and 7 year old. Teaching skills of team work and problem solving, Race to the Treasure is a great game to help build your kiddos self-esteem. I love that is shows your child that they can accomplish their goals with team work and problem solving.

In Race to the Treasure, you have to beat the Ogre to the treasure by building path ways. Along the way you have to collect 3 of four keys, and reach the end of the maze before you've collected all the Ogres. First step of the game is to roll the dice and place the keys on the board in the squares that match the number and letter on the dice. You also receive one Ogre snack that you place the same way as the keys. As each player draws a path you have to work as a team to set them the right way on the board to create a path that will help you collect the keys and get to the end. The Ogre snack, if collected, allows you to remove one Ogre from the line up. If you beat the Ogre to the end you've won the game!

I would absolutely recommend this game as a great Christmas gift for any child on your list! I loved the skills it taught my boys, and confidence they have gained in the game to continue playing. Thank you, Peaceable Kingdom, for allowing me to review your product! -Suzi
