If your children love crafts and you love educational products than you need to check out Green Kid Crafts! Green Kids Crafts is a green company that provides creative and educational activities to do with children. They offer various different ways to order their kits! These ways are their subscription service, craft boxes, birthday activities, STEM science kits, and creativity kits. Kits from Green Kid Crafts allow children and parents to enjoy sustainable arts and crafts and STEM activities! Keep reading to learn more about Green Kid Crafts and see what activities we received in our box!

Green Kid Crafts launched in 2010 and is a mom and woman owned business! This service was created by a working mom and environmental scientist who wanted to make the most of the time she had to spend with her children, not searching for ideas and buying tons of supplies, and that is where Green Kid Crafts was born! These activities are kid tested and parent approved. They check each project with a panel of experts to be sure that each product is engaging, creative, and fun.

These Discovery Boxes are designed to encourage children to lead the way to a better world. Green Kid Crafts boxes are 100% recycled and recycled labels and envelopes are used to shipping. They minimize packaging and printing as much as possible, avoid craft foams and plastics, and ensure that craft supplies can be composted, recycled, or reused whenever possible. Green Kid Crafts also integrates eco-awareness into their craft themes as much as possible!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am kind of STEM obsessed, haha. I have always been more of a history or language arts person, but that quickly changed when I realized how much my daughter loves sciences and math. Once I recognized how much she enjoys these subjects I knew that I had to do whatever I could to encourage her and her love of these subjects, and that is how I came across Green Kid Crafts! While this amazing company offers way more than only science themed kits such as kits on Legends and Folktales, a Superhero costume design kit, a Storytelling kit, and more, they also offer many science themed kits. Some of these science kits include Planet Protector, Feathered Friends, Botany, and tons more. Their website is a go-to for parents looking for fun and educational ways to encourage sciences and used methods approved by other parents and experts. I also love that you can order a subscription in different amounts (1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 month) and that the price decreases per box depending on the subscription you order.

We received the Weather Science kit and my daughter loved it! In this kit there are three activities. The first was to create a Weather Station. My daughter absolutely loved this activity. You can use this weather station to say how the weather is such as windy, sunny, cloudy, etc. You can also move a little arrow to show how sunny it is, and there is an area to say if it is windy and how windy it is. My daughter hung her weather station up on the wall and was pretending to be a weather person on the news and telling us the weather. The second activity in this box is the Cloud Finder which I think may have been my daughter's favorite item in this box even though it was the most simple to do. All that we had to do was cut out the clouds and use glue dots to attach them to the frame given. As soon as Mia was done with this activity she wanted to bring it outside to look through and see what type of cloud was in the sky. She has taken it in the yard and to the park multiple times since we finished making it. The third activity is creating your own Wind Sock! This wind sock was super easy to make and is so cute! Mia loved that she was able to decorate it and make it look however she wanted it to look. She also loved being able to attach the ribbons in any order that she wanted. Since she finished making this windsock she has it hanging in her room near her window.

I absolutely love Green Kid Crafts, their mission, and their amazing products!
I could not possibly recommend them more!
