PB&J Revolution: Quick Tarts! - Alexandra

If you asked me to name a classic American lunch item Peanut Butter and Jelly would probably be my first choice. There are so many other amazing things that you can do with peanut butter and jelly though! It's a Mom Thing Reviews has teamed up with Peanut Butter & Co. to start a PB&J Revolution! In honor of this revolution I am going to post some fun recipes with peanut butter, jelly, or both to make these classic items more fun, we are also going to have a giveaway along with my last post! Today's recipe is for Quick Tarts! Keep reading for the recipe!



Everytime my family has an event I am voted the person to make desserts, sometimes I unfortunately don't have too much time to devote to baking though. One of my favorite simple and fast desserts to make are Quick Tarts! They use few ingredients, take only a few minutes to make, and are super tasty! 


All that you need for these Quick Tarts is jelly, jam, or preserves pie crust, baking spray or something to grease the pan, and a cupcake pan! These tarts work perfectly with homemade pie crust or pre-packaged pie crust. For this post I used pre-packaged to show convenience! I use Awesome Apricot Preserves and Seriously Strawberry Jam from Peanut Butter & Co. as my filling for my tarts!


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. First take pie crust and cut it into rectangles. 
3. Use baking spray or lightly grease a cupcake pan so that the crust does not stick to the pan. Take the rectangle pieces of crust and lay them in the pan.
4. Take your jam, jelly, or preserves and put a spoonful into each section. 
5. Bake for 10 minutes or until a golden brown.
6. Allow to cool for around a half hour and then they are ready to serve!
