If you asked me to name a classic American lunch item Peanut Butter and Jelly would probably be my first choice. There are so many other amazing things that you can do with peanut butter and jelly though! It's a Mom Thing Reviews has teamed up with Peanut Butter & Co. to start a PB&J Revolution! Throughout this week I am going to post some fun recipes of things that you can do with peanut butter, jelly, or both to make these classic items more fun, we are also going to have a giveaway along with my last post! I am starting out today with Peanut Butter and Jam cupcakes! Keep reading for the recipe!

In my house we love peanut butter and jelly! It is one of our favorite quick lunches. We also love to do fun things with peanut butter and jelly since they are both so tasty on their own and together. One of our favorite ways to use peanut butter and jelly is to make cupcakes! Here is my favorite recipe for peanut butter and jam cupcakes!

For the cupcakes all that you need is your favorite yellow cake mix (you can use boxed or make your own from scratch.) Once you have yellow cake batter ready to go put enough in each cupcake tin to cover the bottom, about 1/4 the way full. Next put a spoonful of Seriously Strawberry Jam into each spot. Once you do that put some more batter on top of the jam, enough to cover it and make the cupcakes filled about half way. Put them into the oven and bake for around twelve minutes.

Whipped Peanut Butter Frosting:
(Makes enough for 24 cupcakes plus a bit extra)
Two cups of butter
One -16 oz car of The Bee's Knees Peanut Butter
2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
Three TBSP of milk

First cream together butter and peanut butter. Gradually add in powdered sugar while whipping (I add 1/2 cup at a time.) Next add in milk. Whip all together until nice and fluffy!

Frost your cupcakes and enjoy!

  6. Looks great! I'll probably pass on these mainly because I am picky when it comes to my peanut butter and jam. Can eat them separately but never together! I'm sure my brothers will enjoy these otherwise. Thanks for the recipe! :)
