Holiday Guide: Publications International Review - Nicole

Whether you prefer the traditional ink on paper style of reading, or an interactive book that reads for/with you Publications International has a book for you! Publications International is one of the leading publishers of consumer books and educational products all over the world! They produce more than 400 new titles every year and print over 20 million books annually! Publications International have partnerships with places like Diseny, Mattel and Hershey's to provide you with the highest quality AND name brand books!

The book that my family reviewed is the Sesame Street meReaderjr.

My kids have barely put this interactive book set down since receiving it! I had a hard time even getting photos of it because they were fighting to have it back. Myself, and my two oldest children are avid readers. I can honestly say that I read a book of my own weekly and read a minimum of 5 picture books to my kids daily. Each of the Sesame Street books in this collection have a corresponding button that selects that specific book in the reader. After you've selected a book each page has a corresponding color button, so that the reader reads each page at your child's page turning pace.

The books are board books, which are obviously the most sturdy option for rough and rumble kids - or kids like my youngest who still chew on things. The reader is surprisingly light weight! It comes with batteries in it at first, however, when it comes time to change them it will require 3 AAA batteries.

We have actually ordered a few cookbooks and other children's books that we cannot wait to receive! Books are the perfect stocking stuffer! You can also pick their books up at Barnes & Noble or Toys R' Us is you don't want to wait!
